Feeling overwhelmed is a normal reaction to a build up of life's stresses experienced in the form of anxiety and other emotions to the point of feeling out of control. The catalyst can be anything from work pressures, parenting responsibilities, financial worries, health issues or significant life changes. While overwhelm is normal, and most of us will experience it at some point, the concern is when it is present over a longer period of time, leading to chronic stress and potential burn out.
In this course I will introduce you to a tool and strategies that can help you get unstuck when you are feeling overwhelmed. A tool that you can use again and again, so that with time and practice you can learn to emerge from overwhelm more easily and with more grace
I truly, strongly believe that, as people working in helping professions we MUST attend to our own well-being. How do we manage our stress, workloads, and multiple commitments and avoid burn-out? Not only that – how do we thrive?
