Identifying Overwhelm

As individuals we each experience overwhelm in our own unique way. For some it may be a physical reaction such as churning gut or dry mouth. Others report a buzzing in their head or fuzzy thinking. Certainly a rise in feelings of anxiety is a common experience. Noticing your individual reaction to overwhelm can be a powerful tool to intervene in the process before overwhelm escalates.
